Tanya completed her undergraduate degree at Concordia University in Exercise Science and then pursued her osteopathy studies at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Montreal, with additional training in paediatric osteopathy, pre & post natal care, soft tissue release, endocranial spasm treatment, post concussion syndrome, chronic pain and functional range systems - assessment and conditioning. She brings over 20 years of experience in the sports and wellness industry to Antidote Wellness Lab in Toronto.

She enjoyed a long tenure working with various sports teams like the Montreal Impact Soccer, Canadian Junior Football, various Skate Canada international events and other field work at major games like Canada Games, Pan-Am Games and Invictus Games. Having been an elite athlete herself as a member of the National Synchronized Skating team, Tanya has a passion for sport and exercise.

As a manual therapist, Tanya believes in empowering patients to participate in their healing.

She combines a thorough understanding of human anatomy, biomechanics, physiology and health sciences with strong intuitive skills and an inquisitive nature.

This allows her to recognize how a client’s unique physical, mental and emotional experiences are affecting their body and their health. The most effective osteopathic treatment begins with the acknowledgment that each person’s condition is unique.

Tanya’s patients range from infants to seniors, aspiring for a healthy and balanced life. Her treatments focus on providing clients with action road maps to moving and feeling their best, from hands on care to movement therapy. She brings a holistic approach to wellness and truly lives the lifestyle she shares with all her patients.

When she isn’t treating patients, you will find Tanya crushing her workouts, out for long walks with her family, cooking up a new recipe while listening to an acoustic spotify playlist and sipping on a glass of prosecco!  She loves to travel, collecting ceramic tiles from around the world and walking around barefoot making sure she can move all her 10 toes!

Fun Fact: Tanya figure skated for 20 years and was a member of the Canadian national synchronized skating team, a 2 time national synchronized skating champion and a world bronze medalist.
