Bio
Dagmara Guy is a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #19112) whose work is grounded in psychodynamic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approaches. With a background that includes years in the corporate world and the experience of immigration, she brings a grounded, lived understanding of high-functioning environments, identity, and the space between how people appear and how they actually feel.
Dagmara works from the understanding that many present-day struggles are rooted in early relational patterns -- patterns that once served a protective function but now limit how a person relates to themselves and others. She works with both women and men, and finds particular meaning in supporting clients who have functioned well on the outside while carrying something heavier underneath. Through a collaborative and non-judgmental process, she supports clients in exploring the emotional and relational roots of their difficulties, building greater self-awareness, regulation, and capacity for connection. Her work incorporates somatic approaches, art therapy, and parts work (IFS-informed), adapted to each client's pace and needs.
She also supports women navigating significant life transitions, including perimenopause, menopause, and the empty nest phase -- periods that often bring unexpected emotional shifts and identity questions. Therapy, in her view, offers a space to slow down, make sense of what is changing, and move through it with greater clarity and self-trust.

Dagmara is a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in attachment, trauma, and identity, working with individuals who appear to be coping well externally but feel disconnected or overwhelmed internally. Her approach supports deeper self-understanding, emotional regulation, and more meaningful connection.
Dagmara is particularly drawn to working with people who look like they are managing well but feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck, those who are ready to move from performing toward something more authentic.
When she's not in session, you'll find Dagmara somewhere in motion -- on a bike, on skis, on a yoga mat, or underwater. She's also a regular at concerts, galleries, and theatres, and considers cooking for her two teenagers both a creative outlet and a daily negotiation.
*Psychotherapy services with Dagmara offered on Tuesdays from 2:30pm-7:30pm
