Bio
Elise Kayfetz is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who blends deep relational work with somatic exploration to support clients in accessing resilience, insight, and meaningful healing. Trained in psychodynamic approaches, Elise creates a warm, trauma-informed space where the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a vessel for self-discovery.
Elise believes that many of our present-day struggles are rooted in unconscious patterns shaped by early experiences. Through a compassionate and collaborative process, she helps clients gently uncover these patterns and reconnect with the parts of themselves that long to be seen, understood, and integrated. Her work often incorporates inner child exploration, attachment theory, parts work (informed by Internal Family Systems), dream reflection, and mindfulness and movement-based practices. Each intervention is thoughtfully tailored to the individual’s unique needs and goals.
Her approach bridges deep psychological insight with embodied awareness. By weaving together psychodynamic therapy and somatic practices, Elise supports clients in exploring not only their thoughts and emotions but also the wisdom held within the body. She works from a lifespan perspective—drawing on her Master’s in Gerontology—to support growth and integration at every age and stage of life.
