Massage Therapy

Impacting the body both physically and mentally by reducing the soft tissue restrictions, relieving stress and improving overall wellbeing

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is primarily a hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, more specifically the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. It was one of the earliest tools that people used to try to alleviate pain. Soft tissues are what make your joints stable, mobile and able to perform your day to day tasks.  Sometimes these tissues become strained and overloaded due to certain stresses like repetitive movement and unexpected loads in your daily or athletic activities.

Massage therapy is used to help manage a health condition or enhance wellness. It has a therapeutic effect on the body by acting on its various systems: muscular, nervous and circulatory. It impacts the body both physically and mentally by reducing the soft tissue restrictions, relieving stress and improving overall wellbeing.

Registered Massage Therapists use their knowledge of anatomy and physiology to combine different hands-on techniques with exercise and other complementary therapies to treat their clients.
