Bio

Jake is a registered physiotherapist with 13 years of clinical experience working with a variety of clients ranging from weekend warriors to professional athletes and everyone in between. 

He completed his undergraduate degree in kinesiology at The University of Western Ontario which then led him to complete his Masters in Physiotherapy Studies in 2008 at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Jake has completed courses in soft tissue release therapy (STR), Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). He has been featured on Global News on several occasions for physiotherapy segments.

Growing up, Jake was a competitive hockey player which helped him develop a love for human movement and sport. While studying kinesiology, Jake played football as a defensive back for the University of Western Ontario Mustangs. It is here, where he was first exposed to the world of sports injury rehabilitation.  

Jake's interests are maintaining an active lifestyle at his home gym, completing his ever-growing DIY/woodworking projects and studying financial/real estate investing.
